CD Snobs is the brainchild of Richard Vance, and it's a part of a greater insanity called
The Thirteenth Dimension.

If you happen to have a font that goes by the name Futura Lt BT installed on your computer,
then you have achieved a little something I like to call The Ultimate CD Snobs Experience.

If you read many of the reviews here at CD Snobs, you'll find references to something called whambam.
This might leave you wondering what exactly I'm talking about. And it is difficult to define in precise
terms; my hope is that a magical combination of the context and the onomatopoeia of the word will help
you build your own sense of the word. If that doesn't work for you, just think of it as an ingredient
in music that makes it transcendingly great. You know, like artificial raspberry flavoring. Whambam
is like artificial raspberry flavoring for music.

I'm not a fan of most music criticism. I find it to be long-winded and boring. Most reviews would probably
make for much better reading if they weren't trying to meet a minimum word count requirement. I have no
minimum word count requirement; I write for myself. And for you, of course. Perhaps.
